McFoam comes in several forms such as Sheets, Rolls and Nets to suit various applications in Packaging of Fruits and Vegetables in Agricultural industry. Due to it's inherent properties, McFoam can be used in many applications in packaging in Agriculture Industry to protect the fruits during transportation and storing. Insects are allergic for colour Blue. Therefore, this product protects the fruit from insects. Farmer can also use an insect spray on to the banana cover (contact insecticides loasband) to avoid contact of insecticide with the fruit. In Sri Lanka, the whole bunch of banana is wrapped with a cover which is made by raw coconut branch (PIRIVESSA) but this is not practical on a commercial scale.
